On 13 July the education ministries of Azerbaijan and China signed an agreement on cooperation in education for 2012-2015.
The document was signed by Azerbaijan Minister of Education Misir Mardanov and Chinese envoy in Azerbaijan Hun Tsui.
31 Azerbaijani citizens currently study at the Chinese universities including 26 for Bachelor's Degree, 4 for Master's Degree and 1 for Doctoral Degree.
In turn, the Azerbaijani universities enroll 207 citizens of China including 155 at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, 25 at the Baku Slavic University, 7 at the Baku State University.
