Azerbaijani people, especially the youth actively participate in the ongoing parliamentary election, Akkan Suver, head of the observation mission from Turkish Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation told.
This shows that the elections are important for the people, he added.
Suver said the observation mission visited 12 polling stations in Khatai, Nizami, Yasamal and Khazar districts.
"I would like to note that the election is being held in accordance with the European standards," he said. "We saw surveillance cameras in some polling stations which show the transparency of the election."
Suver said the observers from Europe and CIS countries also prove that.
The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1.
