Ses Media Group has appealed to the world journalists, SIA informs.
The statement reads:
The European family which Azerbaijan is also included to this family is on the eve of a great sport event. Hosting European Games by Azerbaijan has proved once more that, choosing Azerbaijan for such magnificent international sport event is not coincidence.
European as well other world states appraise the success got by Azerbaijan, the state proved its loyalty to the democratic values. Consequently, Azerbaijan has got the right for hosting European games, as a result of votes held by European Olympic Committee.
Despite all of development got by Azerbaijan, some circles try to cast a shadow on our success, by conducting black campaign against our country,
Ses Media Group appeals all world journalists,international media outlets, NGO’s with ability to assess situation and events smoothly, as well human rights institutions not to regard such unbiased claims of as IFEX and organizations like this, and convenes to approach events impartially and objectively .
Highlighting the first ever European Games calls for peace and fair, we call all journalists not to pay attention to some organizations’ preconceived and dirty policy. Azerbaijan’s victory will be Europa’s victory too!
As Ses Media Group, we believe that international journalists’ family, leading world outlets will not offer up their reputation for their political ambitions, as well not to confuse sport with policy. We call them to join a campaign #baku2015 hashtag on Twitter conducted in an official Twitter page of the First ever European Games and share objective information about Azerbaijan.
Note that, International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) appeals all journalist organizations, human rights institutions to join a campaign counducted through Twitter . The slander campaign reads that, on June 12, on the opening ceremony of the first ever European Games, starting from 15:00 journalists and NGOs will publish and share preconceived information about Azerbaijan, photos, news which will be damaged Azerbaijan’s reputation.
