Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have agreed to ink a deal that will see military and patriotic organizations in the countries deepen bilateral cooperation, SIA reports citing AzerTAc.
The proposal came from Azerbaijani ambassador in Dushanbe Abbasali Hasanov as he met chairman of Tajikistan`s Central Committee of Public Organization on Assistance to Defense (DOSAAF) Muzaffar Gulmadov.
Mr Gulmadov welcomed the proposal, and said a draft agreement would soon be submitted to the sides for consideration.
The ambassador praised relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan as friendly.
Mr Hasanov noted there were good opportunities for cooperation between the two countries` military and patriotic organizations.
Mr Gulmadov said his organization was keen on cooperation with Azerbaijani counterparts.
