No one must die on the contact line- Ambassador

I do not suppose that the negotiations on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict have failed.

"Kazan meeting did not make progress as had been expected. Of course, it causes regret, because the Russian leadership is making serious efforts towards mediation," Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Kobia told SIA.

Roland Kobia considers that lack of progress in one meeting should not cast shadow on the whole process and there is no ground to say that the whole process failed.
"I agree that the results of the recent contacts caused disappointment. But one should not fall into despair. The efforts did not slow down. We should continue this process and should spare no efforts. The international community will also continue giving support," he said.

The ceasefire regime must be observed. No one must die on the contact line. I hope both sides will remain committed to ceasefire. There will be a chance to achieve peace," he told.
