June 1st is the International Child Protection Day.
The proposals on ensuring child rights was raised on June 1st in 1950, in the "International Conference of Women" organized by General Assembly of UN, and in that meeting 1 June was chosen to be dedicated to the internationally protection of child rights.
This date is also celebrated in Azerbaijan as many other countries of the World.
