Azerbaijan has sovereign right to decide on the admission or non-admission of foreign citizens' entry into its territory, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told journalists on Oct 12, commenting on Azerbaijan’s refusal of the entry for two employees of Amnesty International.
According to Hikmat Hajiyev, the international media pays much attention to the elections: According to the law on mass media, the foreign ministry is receiving applications for registration of foreign media representatives," noted the Ministry's spokesman.
