Some Armenian e-media outlets spread disinformation that Azerbaijani armed forces allegedly created tension along the state border, violating ceasefire on the contact line in the direction of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan ahs issued a statement.
According to the Ministry that, the observation revealed that collision occurred between the servicemen of the opposite side.
"On Oct 1, at 23:00 the Armenia’s personnel shouted insults at each other and fired from small arms 10 times on the frontline. It was observed that the enemy’s command arrived in that position by UAZ at about 23:40, 5 servicemen were forced into the car and the car moved towards command center.
"It is the next provocation of Armenian military-political leadership’s against Azerbaijan in order to hide from Armenian citizens the negative incident in the Armenian army." the statement said.
"Our units fully control the operational conditions from the positions in the uplands in this direction," stated the Defense Ministry.
