"Every journalist can monitor the elections by presenting the identity card (ID).However this procedure doesn't refer to foreign media," the Azerbaijani president’s aide for public and political affairs, Ali Hasanov made remarks on Oct 2 at a seminar "Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan: the roles and duties of media in pre-election process".
According to the President's Aide, foreign media outlets get access to monitor the elections after being accredited in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Necessary condition has been created in Azerbaijan for all foreign media outlets. Some journalists and circles intending to conduct anti-Azerbaijani campaign should know that it is necessary to fulfill legal norms to carry out such an activity in Azerbaijan" added Ali Hasanov.
