On the sidelines of the trilateral meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey held in Ashgabad on January 29, 2015 Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with H.E.Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, SIA reports.
Expressing satisfaction with the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov conveyed the greetings of H.E. Mr.Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to President of Turkmenistan.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov asked to convey his greetings and the most sincere wishes to H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting was stressed the importance of trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey in the development of regional cooperation.
At the meeting views were exchanged on cooperation issues in economy, trade, education as well as other areas of mutual interest.
