China will provide free military aid to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
The aid will be provided under the agreement signed between Azerbaijani and Chinese defense ministries on January 21.
According to the agreement, China will disinterestedly provide 3 million yuan worth military property to Azerbaijan. The concrete types and amount of the property will be confirmed through an extra protocol between the sides.
The agreement has been signed by military attaché of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in China, first Captain Nurulla Aliyev and deputy chief of the Foreign Affairs Office, China's Defense Ministry Chi Quovey.
Chinese Defense Ministry provided 6 million yuan worth free military property (about $ 951 067) to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces under the protocol signed between the countries in 2011.
