On 21 January Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ganja State Philharmonic building.
According to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan, the
head of state was informed that the Philharmonic will be built in the
area of the Baki cinema and Children's Creative Center.
The philharmonic concert hall will seat 1,200 people, two cinemas, a
summer stage area in the open air, a photo gallery and observation
tower.
The building of the Ganja State Philharmonic Society will have a restaurant, café and underground parking area of 800 sq.m.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the concrete installation and laid the foundation of the Ganja State Philharmonic.
