Azerbaijan has not forgotten its history, the executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party said at a book launch.
"Azerbaijan has never been strong as today to restore its history. We lost our lands at different times in the past 200 years or more. But we preserve our history in our national consciousness," MP Ali Ahmadov said.
Azerbaijan has preserved the history of both Karabakh and Western Azerbaijan (the territory of present-day Armenia), he continued.
"Tomorrow we will return all those lands."
Ali Ahmadov made the comments at the launch of a book entitled "Azerbaijani Carpets: Iravan Group".
