Organizing committee for conduction of 4th International Caspian Energy Forum – 2015 in Astana created
Astana has hosted (February 20) the meeting of Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Shkolnik with Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev. The meeting was held within the framework of the preparation for the 4th International Caspian Energy Forum – 2015 to be held in Astana.
At the meeting Telman Aliyev thanked Vladimir Sergeevich Shkolnik, who has been actively involved, since the creation of the Club, in establishing of the dialogue between the countries of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions, for the support of initiatives of the Caspian European Club.
Prospects of cooperation with the Caspian European Club were discussed at the meeting. The minister outlined the significance of development of cooperation with the Caspian European Club.
Telman Aliyev spoke about the forth-coming 4th International Caspian Energy Forum – 2015 (www.caspianenergyforum.com) which would be held in Astana in October 2015.
It was noted that the key role of the Republic of Kazakhstan in energy, transport and infrastructure projects, which are implemented in Eurasia, Caspian-Black Sea region countries, the growing sector of gas upstream, resource potential of the Caspian and Caspian sea states is planned to be discussed within the framework of the first part of the Caspian Energy Forum. The second part of the forum will host the Caspian European Forum dedicated to the development of the non-oil sector. The issues to be discussed during the Caspian European Forum will concern the deployment of innovations in financial, banking, insurance, leasing, telecommunications, tourism, machine engineering, construction and other sectors of the non-oil industry, doing business and establishing a business-government dialogue.
The forum will be attended by representatives of diplomatic and international missions, accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, executives of the EU, government agencies of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic region countries, and international companies.
It was noted that the Astana forum is planned to be held annually as a general meeting of the Caspian European Club.
The agenda of the event envisages additional opportunities for the participants to work and communicate during coffee breaks and business lunch. The official "Caspian Energy Award Astana – 2015" prize presentation ceremony will be held within the framework of the gala-reception to take place in the evening.
According to the result of the meeting, a decision to create an organizing committee to be involved in preparation for the conduction of the 4th International Caspian Energy Forum – 2015 due in October 2015 in the city of Astana.
Honorary membership certificate of the Caspian European Club was presented to Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Shkolnik at the meeting.
