Pipeline company BTC Co is exploiting actively an additional source of oil for transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan informs that Turkmen oil supplies started via BTC in July 2010 increased in December versus November indicators.
"Until 1st January 2011 it was delivered 4.1 million tons, including 2.237 million tons this year," it was informed.
At that, this December it was supplied 204,758 tons versus 195,850 tons in November and 797,000 tons in April (absolute record of delivery per month for the entire history).
The agreement on Turkmen oil transportation via BTC was signed in July 2010 and prolonged in June 2011.
