solidarity with the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the
anniversary of "January 20" tragedy.
Referring to the "Black January" events, which occurred as a result of
the Soviet Union’s aggression against the Azerbaijani territories on
January 20, 1990", the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses
its respect for the successful efforts made by the Azerbaijani people in
1991 to achieve their self-determination and sovereignty.
