The Foreign Ministry is calling on Azerbaijani citizens in Syria to take extra care, spokesman Elman Abdullayev has said.
The security of Azerbaijani citizens in Syria is a priority for the ministry.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Syria is working as normal and keeping a focus on the safety of citizens.
"In the event of a real threat, the Foreign Ministry will send an
official warning to Azerbaijani citizens," the spokesman said.
Almost 80 Azerbaijani citizens are registered in Syria.
