Representatives of political parties operating in Azerbaijan, political scientists and political commentators, as well as heads of internet TVs, newspaper editors and other journalists have left for Khankandi, Asgaran and Khojaly, Azerbaijan, as part of another joint visit organized by the Presidential Administration.
The visit includes planned tours of Khankandi's landmarks, Asgaran fortress and Khojaly.
This is the fifth such visit organized within the framework of healthy political dialogue promoted in Azerbaijan's political relations sphere, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev. Previously, joint visits of the country's politicians were organized to Aghdam, Shusha (twice) and Zangilan.
The first joint visit of party leaders and political scientists was organized to Aghdam city on March 17, 2021, and the second joint visit was to Shusha city on October 7, 2021.
Following, politicians participated in an international conference titled "Azerbaijan-Türkiye strategic allied relations are a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region" held in Shusha city on June 15, 2022, on the first anniversary of the Shusha Declaration. The fourth joint visit, which took place on June 24, 2022, was to Zangilan.
