Georgian PM, Turkmen President explore Middle Corridor development

Georgia and Turkmenistan are highlighting the significance of interconnection and the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor, SİA informs, citing the Georgian government.

This issue was a key topic during a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

During their discussions, the leaders explored future development prospects for cooperation in the transport and energy sectors.

Prime Minister Kobakhidze, in turn, talked about implementing transport and logistics projects to further strengthen Georgia's role as a transit hub.
