Three years ago, foreign forces, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the opposition wanted to drag Georgia into war and destruction, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said on his social network account, SİA informs.
According to Papuashvili, those forces, with their irresponsible behavior and acting under the influence of foreigners, put the country at great risk: "The wisdom of the people and the determination of the authorities played an important role in Georgia's escape from this danger."
Papuashvili also said that it is unacceptable to allow such forces close to power: "They betrayed us three years ago. Let's not forget this."
