This year, there will be 11 non-working days during the Novruz holiday in Azerbaijan, SİA reports.
According to the decision dated December 11, 2024 made by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Novruz holiday will be celebrated on March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2025. Since March 22 and 23 falls on the weekend, according to the Labor Code, March 25 and 26 will be non-working days.
Based on today's decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, in order to ensure the continuity of work and rest days, the workdays of March 27-28, 2025, have been swapped with the rest days of March 10 and April 1.
Thus, considering that March 29 and 30 also falls on Saturday and Sunday, there will be non-working days on March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 during this year's Novruz holiday.
