Over past 40 days, Azerbaijan won all six elections in int'l organizations where its candidacy was nominated
Over the past 40 days, Azerbaijan and its representatives have won all six elections held within international organizations where the relevant candidates were nominated, SİA informs referring to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
The ministry noted that this is a clear indicator of the growing trust of the international community in Azerbaijan.
The candidates were nominated in the following elections:
- to the Executive Board of the UN Human Settlements Programme (2025-2029)
- to the Executive Board of the UN Tourism (2025-2029)
- to the UNESCO Committee on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2025-2029)
- for membership in the UN Committee on Migrant Workers (2026-2029)
- for the chairmanship of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to the UN Environment Programme
- for the post of Secretary General of the International Civil Defense Organization.
