Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), expressed his sincere belief that the city of Khankendi will become a center of peace, SİA informs.
Erdogan noted that holding the summit in Khankendi adds special meaning and importance to it.
"As Türkiye, we are mobilizing our efforts to reach zero emissions by 2053 and shape our development path. It aims to reduce 100 million tons of carbon emissions with a program covering the years 2024-2030. I would like to note that the approval of the documents adopted at the COP29 event held in Azerbaijan is in the final stage in our country. I congratulate our Azerbaijani brothers, led by President Ilham Aliyev, on the selection of Shusha as an ECO tourism capital for 2026," he said.
