Azerbaijan to relocate 20,000 people to Aghdam by the end of next year
By the end of 2026, 20,000 people will be relocated to Azerbaijan's Aghdam, Emin Huseynov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, told journalists.
He noted that the design work in the liberated territories is nearing completion, and the projects included in the state program will be finalized by the end of next year.
He added, "It is planned to relocate around 10,000 people to Aghdam city and its three surrounding villages this year. By the end of 2026, the relocation of 20,000 people is expected."
