Following the heated exchange in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a post on X, SİA reports citing CNN.
“Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you POTUS, Congress, and the American people.”
“Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that,” Zelenskyy added.
It comes after Trump ordered the Ukrainians be told to leave, according to a White House official.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reacted on Telegram: “We have our own things to do. Glory to Ukraine.”
