European football leaders meet to discuss the unfolding FIFA crisis later with splits emerging over whether to back Michel Platini in his battle to succeed Sepp Blatter.
Mr Platini is fighting for his political life having been banned from football for 90 days over a £1.35m payment from Mr Blatter that is the subject of a Swiss criminal inquiry.
Last week, following his suspension by FIFA's ethics committee, UEFA backed Mr Platini emphatically, but there are now divisions emerging between member nations.
The Scandinavian nations and Germany's representative have expressed concerns over Mr Platini's explanation for the payment, and want him to demonstrate that he can clear his name before offering their support.
