Captain Jochen Schöps is set to join Germany's men's Volleyball training camp ahead of Baku 2015.
The Germans have planned a friendly against Baku 2015 pool play opponents Slovakia on 5 June in Münster, Germany.
"The Slovakians will be coming with their best team, which will also play in Baku. It is a very good team and at this point maybe too good for us," said German coach Vital Heynen.
Slovakia are drawn together with Germany in Pool B at Baku 2015 along with Russia, Italy, Bulgaria and Belgium.
