The Moskovsky Komsomolets highlights parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan
Russian daily newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets ghas published an article on prliamentary elections top be held in Azerbaijan on Nov1, SIA reports.
The newspaper highlights Azerbaijan continues to demonstrate independent internal and external position, thus does not justify the EU’s expectations.
The article mentioned the refusal of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to observe the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan to be held on November 1.
Though, it is obvious that OSCE’s refusal to cooperate has nothing to do with the elections, and the West just tries to win over the country, the article states.
According to the article, representatives of some 22 parties expressed willingness to be a member of parliament; however the ruling "Yeni Azerbaijan" party would be overall winner.
Azerbaijani people don’t expect and don’t wish any changes, the article notes.
Azerbaijan’s GDP has increased by five times over the last 10 years. Foreign investments have doubled. Azerbaijani economy is one of the fastest growing in the world, the article underlines.
