The statement came from Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Misezhnikov.
"Visa regime is today one of the main reasons of a small tourism flow from Azerbaijan. Nearly 2,000 Azerbaijani citizens, mainly relatives of Israelis visit Israel every year", the minister said.
"I cannot promise that Azerbaijan will be the next country with which we will try to annul visa regime. We must see the potential of the great tourism flow from this country for cancellation or easing of visa regime. There is a direct flow from Baku and this is already good", he said.
Misejnikov noted that the exchange of delegation of tourism operators. "We are ready to greet your tourism operators at our expense and show them the tourism business of Israel", the minister said.
The Israeli Transport Ministry has prepared a program of cutting prices for tourism services which is also aimed at raising the indicators of attendance.
"The resort tourism is actively developing in Israel. There are modern hospitals where the difficult surgeries for transplantation of organs. On the other hand, there are rehabilitation centers, for example, in the Dead Sea, where the rehabilitation course can be taken after a complex surgery", Stas Misezhnikov said.
The minister stated the interest of our country in Azerbaijani investments in the tourism sector of Israel. He said that against the backdrop of the world events Israel is a 'safe, secure and reliable country'.
