Azerbaijani Justice Ministry and the WB signed new
loan agreement on additional financial resources for the project of
modernization of justice system.
Press service of the Ministry reported that the agreement was singed by
Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov and World Bank acting manager on
Azerbaijan Saida Bagirli.
In his speech, the Minister spoke about the work done for modernization
of justice and judicial systems and infrastructures. Representative of
the World Bank highly appreciated the World Bank’s cooperation with the
Justice Ministry, measures taken for the projects of modernization of
justice system. It was said that the judicial reforms implemented in
Azerbaijan are supported by the international organizations.
