Representatives of the Georgian Revenue Service held discussions regarding the details of the project during an inter-agency meeting in Yerevan.

As part of the visit, Mikheil Chokoshvili, the acting head of the Georgian Customs Department, signed a document defining the composition of the working groups.

According to Chokoshvili, the implementation of the project will increase the efficiency of cooperation between customs departments, create conditions for strict compliance with security requirements, and boost legitimate trade against the background of increasing cargo flows.

Currently, reconstruction of infrastructure and repair efforts are underway on the section of the Sadykhli–Tsopi–Akhkerpi road located on the Georgia-Armenia border.
