Windows Phone 8.1 users looking forward to an upgrade to Windows 10 in December are going to be disappointed. After company representatives said in October that Windows 10 mobile upgrades would start sometime this month, Microsoft is now saying it won’t happen until early 2016.
"The Windows 10 Mobile upgrade will begin rolling out early next year to select existing Windows 8 and 8.1 phones," a Microsoft spokesperson recently told ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley.
