Relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are of strategic nature, and all the latest statements are meant to damage relations between our countries.
The statement came from Ali Hasanov, head of the public and political department at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, in his remarks for journalists ahead of the conference on 88th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
"Georgia and Azerbaijan have centuries-old ties of friendship. Our countries will not make steps that could harm bilateral relations. And all the suspicious statements that were made recently, aiming to damage relations between our countries, will fail, as our relations are stable and durable," Hasanov said.
