Ahmet Davutoglu: “It would be good Azerbaijani refugees return to their home lands”
A member of Armenian delegation Naira Zohrabyan asked question from the acting chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CE Committee of Ministers), Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, about the false destruction of Armenian monuments in Nakhichivan and the Committee of Ministers to send a supervisory mission to the region.
"This issue was not discussed in the Committee of Ministers and I have not any information on it. But as head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry I would like to emphasize that in the Caucasus, the Balkans a priority issue for us is the policy of tolerance. We believe that the conflicting parties must first adopt a policy in this direction", he noted. The FM continuing his speech said "It would be good to release Azerbaijani territories from the occupation and Azerbaijani refugees return to their home lands. Without this, all the talks about tolerance or intolerance have no meaning. At the same time, we believe that the Caucasian peoples lived together respecting each other, and can live after now, he told.
