"Sooner or later Azerbaijan will get back its lands," the deputy head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, chief of the Administration’s Foreign Relations Department, Novruz Mammadov told on July 24.
According to Novruz Mammadov, there was not noticeable progress in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the first half of 2015. Despite that certain steps were taken, there is not result, Mammadov said. "That is why the co-chairs visited the region. They demonstrated will to bring the presidents and foreign minister together. However, the Azerbaijani president stated that he is ready to meet but not for the sake of meeting.
Touching on possible meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents, Novruz Mannadov noted that there is still no agreement on the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in New York: "The co-chairs intend to bring the presidents together. I cannot say that it will take place in September, October, or November." stressed the top official.
