Mubariz Ahmedoghlu: International society interested in remaining of tensions between the two countries
"Azerbaijan’s hosting the first ever Euroepan Games is an important historical event. Nevertheless, occassions occurred around this event, should be taken into consideration." Chairman of the Center of Political Innovations and Technologies, Mubariz Ahmedoghlu told a press conference on July 7.
According to Mubariz Ahmedoghlu, some western circles began to conduct campaign against Azerbaijan on the eve of the first European Games. We could not suppose such reaction and obstacles created against Azerbaijan.
"Armenian team took 36th place at the European Games held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Armenian athletes, coaches, as well Armenian officials have not commented negatively on the games or Azerbaijan. On the contrary, they have hailed condition created by Azerbaijan." added Chairman of the Center of Political Innovations and Technologies.
"International society do not want Azerbaijan’s coming to conclusion with Armenia. They are interested in remaining of tensions between the two countries and prolongation of resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. They use the conflict as a tool for keeping under pressure these countries. Despite all of these Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be resolved in a short time." Ahmedoghlu stressed.
