An Armenian reconnaissance-raiding group attempted to cross the line of contact on the night of January 21.
According to the Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry, thanks to the vigilance of Azerbaijani military units on the front line, detection of approaching enemy and as a result of heavy shootout the Armenians retreated with losses.
According to the official reports of the opposite side, one of the invaders Nahapet Asatryan was killed, Hovhannes Gasparyan was seriously injured.
The units of Azerbaijani Armed Forces hold full control along the frontline without giving any loss, and are ready to prevent enemy’s provocation at any time, the Ministry of Defense said.
