"Cooperation with Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee (SCC) is a great importance for Senegal in terms of fighting against drug smuggling." SIA reports that Deputy Director General of Senegalese Economy and Finance Ministry's General Customs Administration Noiaye Aliou told rhis ar the meeting with a delegation led by the State Custom Committee of Azerbaijan Chairman Aydin Aliyev.
The Chairman of State Custom Committee Aydin Aliyev informed the Senegalese delegation on Azerbaijan's achievements in the area of customs, and noted that the SCC is one of the leading bodies involved in construction of an e-government.
Azerbaijan and Senegal are friendly countries, adding that his committee is ready to support Senegal in all areas of interest, highlighted Aydin Aliyev.
Aydin Aliyev also noted that the two countries have not signed any official documents at the government level, and suggested to elaborate on an agreement on cooperation in the training of personnel.
"Senegalese side is ready to spare no effort for the Azerbaijani side's offer on preparing the agreement to be fulfilled soon. Of course we will use this opportunity in order to succeed in the work of our customs authority by means of learning from your experience" stressed Deputy Director General of Senegalese Economy.
