Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev has met a Croatian delegation led by Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin, who visited Baku to attend the Shah Deniz 2 Final Investment Decision Signing Ceremony, SIA reports in reference to AzerTac.
Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev briefed the delegation on the cultural achievements and tourism potential of the country.
The Minister said Azerbaijan attached great importance to cooperation with Croatia in the fields of culture and tourism.
Garayev invited the Croatian counterpart to participate in a meeting of the UN World Tourism Organization to be held in Baku in April, 2014.
They also exchanged views on prospects for the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria cooperation in the tourism sphere.
Croatian ambassador to Azerbaijan Drajen Hrastic was present at the meeting.
