"Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia not only will begin from Gumru, but he will generally spend a large part of time in Gyurmi. The president will also meet Serz Sargsyan in the Armenia’s capital and attend the banquet that will be held in his honor. I think that Russian President has not chosen his visit rout randomly," Political Innovation and Technology Center head Mubariz Ahmadoglu told SIA while commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit starting from Gyurmi, not from Yerevan.
M.Ahmadoglu mentioned that, Putin has visited to the military base in Gyurmi: "Putin’s direct visit to Gyurmi proves that for Russia Gyurmi is more important than Armenia. With his this visit Russian president has also responded Armenia’s double – sided policy."
