Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov met with the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar at the headquarters of the party.
SİA, citing the official website of the party, reports that during the meeting the sides exchanged views on the overall social and political situation on the eve of the presidential election in Azerbaijan on October 9 and the work to be done during the agitation campaign period.
The U.S. Mission to Azerbaijan Charge d'Affaires Dereck Hogan, Head of the Embassy's Policy Department Colin Crenwolich, and the Embassy's Political Advisor Fanta Orr also participated at the meeting.
