Presidential Administration official: “Voters will express their will freely in the presidential elections”
Forthcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be fair and transparent as always, and the most worthy candidate will become a winner, chief of Socio-Political Affairs Department at the Presidential Administration, professor Ali Hasanov has today told journalists.
Hasanov said the Azerbaijani authorities were cooperating with international organizations for improving the election experience and applying the best world practice to hold more transparent, fair elections.
He said: "We are working with the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the European Union in this direction."
Hasanov pointed out that voters would express their will freely in the presidential elections to be held in autumn. According to him, results of the elections will be announced in a short period of time.
