President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by Defense Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro de Morenés y Álvarez de Eulate, SIA reports citing the official website of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Stressing good level of political relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Spain, the President noted great potential for development of these relations in economy, mutual investment and other spheres.Noting the importance of mutual visits in terms of enhancement of bilateral relations, the Head of State underlined the significance of such intensive visits.
President Aliyev expressed his confidence that the visit of the Spanish Defense Minister will contribute to developing military cooperation.
In his turn, the Spanish Defense Minister noted that his visit to Azerbaijan paved the way for productive discussion of the relations, including the prospects of military cooperation.
