Colombia’s Foreign Ministry has sent a note to Azerbaijan’s embassy in Mexico expressing solidarity with the Azerbaijani people due to the anniversary of 20 January tragedy.
The embassy told APA that referring to "the aggression against Azerbaijan’s territories by the Soviet Union on January 20, 1990, which is known as Black January", the note says that Colombia’s Foreign Ministry confirms its respect for the efforts made by the Azerbaijani people for self-determination and sovereignty in 1991.
