Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Safar Abiyev received Air Marshal Eris Herryanto, Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense on January 15.
The Defense Ministry’s press service told that the establishment and development of military cooperation between the countries were mainly discussed at the meeting. Safar Abiyev informed the guest about the military-political situation in the region and Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Secretary General said his country supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
It was decided to sign an agreement on military cooperation between Indonesia and Azerbaijan.
Indonesian ambassador to Azerbaijan Raden Prayono Atiyanto also attended the meeting.
