OSCE held the following monitoring on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenian armed forces. the monitoring participants firstly met with the representatives of Regional Executive Power at the Youth Center.
Deputy Head of Region Executive Power Vidadi Baylarov said to OSCE representative that Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire 784 times within 10 months, SIA reports quoting Karabakh bureau. During this period both frontline villages and Azerbaijani opposite positions were fired. As a result an Azerbaijani soldier died and some were wounded. Furthermore, Gapanli village inhabitant died stepping on a anti-personnel mine buried near the settlement.
Afterwards, the contact line in southeast of Gapanli village of Tartar region was monitored according to the mandate of personal representative of OSCE acting chairman.
The monitoring was conducted by personal assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office William Pryor and field assistant Evgeny Sharov on Azerbaijani side and field assistants of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Jiri Aberle and Hristo Hristov on the opposite side of the contact line.
