By defining its priorities, the program of actions and strategic plan for 2013, the Azerbaijani European Movement especially considered the importance of accelerating the propaganda of European values in our country.
According to the news service for the European Movement, while noting the importance of studying and propaganda of European values and continuation of the way launched by Azerbaijani enlighteners of the 19th century, the Azerbaijani European Movement addressed the public, structures, functioning for propaganda of human values in Azerbaijan, the country leadership and personally President Ilham Aliyev for the purpose of joining this initiative.
The appeal says that considering the awarding of the Nobel premium to EU this year and that Azerbaijan which is now in a state of war is also the participant of the program ‘Partnership for Peace’, in 2013 Azerbaijan must be taken for a priority the European integration and propaganda of European values in all spheres.
In addition, there is a need to take into account the importance of introducing European education, culture, other values and historical experience, as well as the cooperation of Azerbaijan with European countries for establishment of Azerbaijan as an even safer and geostrategically developed country and the importance of accelerating European integration, in general.
