The tragic incident on the Turkish-Syrian border which killed five and wounded 10 as a result of the fall of artillery shells in Turkey's southeast became the subject of a telephone call between Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
According to Turkish media, during the telephone call on 3 October, the sides spoke about the established situation in detail.
On the same day, Davutoglu held a telephone talk with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Foreign Ministers of Germany, France and Pakistan.
