The so-called 'presidential elections' in separatist Nagorno Karabakh that are due on Thursday damage the negotiation process on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
The statement came from spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev.
He said the fact of elections in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan is the attempt of the Armenian side to fix the current status quo whose unacceptability is recognized by the world community.
