Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova views situation with religious freedom in Azerbaijan as satisfactory.
"Azerbaijan has no problems with the religious freedom of all religious movements, unless they turn radical", said Muradova.
"If someone wants to use religion as an economic or political leverage to carry out terrorist plans, the activities of such religious movements will be strongly suppressed", she said.
According to her, the government and intelligence agencies of Azerbaijan suppress the activities of such movements, and will continue to do so: "Thanks to this, in recent years the country managed to prevent extremely dangerous crimes".
The efforts of Azerbaijan in fighting terrorism are fixed in the reports of international organizations.
